  • 20 years

    Blackmans Bay Motors started operation in 2000 at the rear of the shell service station in Blackmans Bay. Rod Glanville & Scott Turnbull are the original owners, have served the Blackmans Bay/Kingston area since 2000. Rod & Scott were determined from the start to develop a business that met the needs of the modern automotive industry & its customers, always looking for ways to make the business better equipped or better ways to keep their customers happy. The focus has always been on making sure the customers receive professional & courteous service.

  • Blackmans Bay Motors Next Chapter

    Rod and Scott,  passed the batten to Robert Jenkyns and Kimberley Cowen in September 2021, entrusting their 20 year development to their manager of 3 years and employee of 8 years. Rob and Kim, have been apart of the Blackmans Bay Motors family for the better half of a decade, developing connections and relationships with in the community, maintaining and developing the high level of professional care and service set. As Rob and Kim settle into their new roles as owners they plan to continue the outstanding standards delivered and expand the business. In February 2022, customers will see a new hoist enter the workshop, allowing the business to grow with the Blackmans Bay/Kingston area, along with a new courtesy vehicle (arrival TBC).

  • State-of-the-art Service Centre

    As the business continued to expand a large investment was made into equipping the workshop with the facilities to do very close to all work required on modern vehicles in house. These include machining flywheels for the surrounding workshops, the latest on car brake lathe, 3 of the latest scan tools, wheel alignment and tyre changing facilities and sophisticated software packages.

  • Highly Trained Technicians

    At Blackmans Bay Motors, our technician complete continuous training modules throughout the year. Professional development is experienced in the workshop daily, our apprentice Riley, has developed and progressed his learning through hands on experience working with our senior technicians. Our senior technicians participate in training courses delivered by Bosch and the TACC.

  • Customer Service Excellence

    At Blackmans Bay Motors our focus is providing outstanding customer service and support. We provide ourselves on setting and maintaining a clean, professional, honest and open workshop. Our reception space holds a workshop window, where customers and can peak at vehicles being attended to at any given moment. Blackmans Bay Motors offers a FREE courtesy vehicle to all customers, and TACC roadside assistance vouchers for 6 or 12 months. We offer a local free drop off and pick up service, and accommodate all customer requests to the very best of our abilities.
